The authors of the nature photographs - members of the Lodz District Polish Nature Photographers Association -  show at the “Forest Life Scenes” exhibition art photographs which express the predominant topic: ”Forest as a Treasure of Life”, and this  is what they say about the genesis of their photographs:

“Each one of us has a different perspective of the Forest and values it for different sensations. Although the Forest is full of smells and sounds, for us – the photographers – it consists of images, first and foremost. The images that we register with sensitive eyes to show them to others by means of photographs. The Forest is a place that  calms us down and regenerates us. And it loads us with positive energy coming from the surroundings so rich in various but complementary stimuli. For the forest is a huge diversity. As the observers, we can see the huge trees in the old forests, boggy alder forests and marshes, or murky ancient mountain forests. Birds, deer and wolves, but also trees, flowers and butterflies. Because the Forest means life. An opulence of forms and species that enable each one of us to find topics for ourselves”.
